Fanhams Hall Pre Wedding Shoot with Stephanie & David | Kent Wedding Photographer
Today on the blog is Stephanie & David’s pre wedding shoot. These guys are due to get married in September at their local church and they’ll then go onto their reception at Fanhams Hall in Ware, Hertfordshire.
‘We are looking forward to getting married in our local church and I loved Fanhams as it has a very classic feel, the Jacobean side is very impressive and grand with its oak panelling and large windows, hopefully we will have some September sun shining in the large windows. The gardens impressed us too, I loved the beautiful fountain outside.’
Stephanie and David first met back in 2012 on a night out in London. On 14th Febuary last year David popped the question in a surprise, romantic evening in for Valentine’s Day.
David tells of how he proposed to Stephanie, ‘The proposal was on Valentines Day 2014, I got the early train home, ran from the train station in the pouring rain, got changed, got the room ready, candles lit, single red Rose ready, called her mother asked for her acceptance to ask for stephs hand in marriage… ‘yes’ was the response. I then drove to collect steph, got back to the flat (in Barnet). Stephanie and I walked into the living room where I gave Stephanie her rose and wished her happy v day. I then asked for a dance for the occasion. During our slow dance I spoke to steph and said how much she meant to me, how since knowing her my life was that much better, I told her that she was my best friend, my soul mate and that I had one more thing to ask, I got on my knee and asked her if she would do me the honour of being my wife. Her response (as I was going on my knee) was ‘what, Dave, what….’ then it was a ‘YES ‘as I asked the question.’
