James & Rachel’s Vintage Autumn Wedding Day – Kent Wedding Photographer – James Grist Photography
Today on the blog is James & Rachel’s Vintage Autumn wedding. James & Rachel tied the knot at the beginning of the month. They chose Temple Hill Church as it is their parish church.
James & Rachel have been good friends of ours for a few years now, so I was really pleased when they asked me to document their wedding. Rachel looked stunning in her Nan’s wedding dress! It is over 50 years old! The vintage lace went really well with James’s 1930’s style suit.
After the ceremony we headed over to Hextable Gardens, were we had previously photographed their family shoot. This time of the year is my favourite time to shoot weddings. The grounds to the park had just started to change colour. Which suited James & Rachel’s rich autumn colours.
Once the photos were done, we went back to their chosen reception venue, The Alexandra Suite to start the wedding breakfast.
Hats of to The Alexanda suite wedding team that created a beautiful autumnal feel inside. Highlights for me was to see so many happy people in one place! It was a brilliant day! Oh and the blues band was awesome!
