Marc & Beckie Hadlow Manor Hotel Wedding Day
Hey Folks! Today on the blog is Beckie and Marc’s wedding day, the new Mr & Mrs Reeves got married at St Michaels Church in Maidstone. After the ceremony and epic confetti line they headed over to Hadlow Manor Hotel in Tonbridge. The traditional appearance of the old building is what won the couple over, they loved the grand pillars at the front of it.
“We had a autumnal theme to the wedding and had toffee and chocolate apples as our wedding favours as well as a hot chocolate table. Our colour scheme was Browns, beiges, creams and gold.”
Beckie’s dress was a simple fishtail dress with straps which came down the arms and gathering material round the waist.
“I chose it because I felt it was really flattering on me and of all the dresses I loved, I knew Marc would like that one best! I also loved the long train on it. I went for having my hair curly and some pinned up at back, both my hair and make up I tried to keep quite natural and bridal as I felt it matched the theme!”
The bridesmaids wore metallic beige halter neck dresses and the groomsmen wore grey suits and tails, with matching cravats and pocket squares to the bridesmaids.
“The day was fantastic but a total whirlwind! There were lots of special moments a few of my favourites we’re seeing Marc and all of the people closest to us as I walked down the aisle. Our first dance was lovely to get that moment with Marc, and the speeches it was lovely to hear how everyone felt and really made us both feel so lucky to be surrounded by such fantastic people on our special day. My father daughter dance was also lovely, my dad had chosen the song for our dance and it was a really special moment for us to share. I also received the most lovely card and present from my bridesmaids which was just lovely. But most importantly the best bit was definitely Marc and I saying our vows to each other as that’s what it’s all about really!”
