Mario & Natalie’s Engagement Shoot – Kent Wedding Photographer – James Grist Photography
Today on the blog is Natalie and Mario’s Engagement Shoot. Natalie and Mario are good friends of mine, so I am really honoured that they’ve chosen me to shoot their big day!
These guys have been engaged for just over a month, and plan on tying the knot in the next couple of years.
Mario proposed to Natalie in the beautiful Botanic Gardens in Cambridge, in April. It was a perfect sunny day and they were visiting Natalie’s 93 year old Grandma who Natalie is very close to. Mario had carefully planned the day so that her Grandma would be with them when he proposed, as he knew how much it would mean to Natalie to have her there! He had written Natalie’s Grandma a letter that said, ‘I think it’s only wright that Natalies’ favourite person in the whole world, be here when I PROPOSE to Natalie today! Hopefully, in the next few minutes you’ll be the first to know if she says yes….wish me luck! Lots of love Mario xxx’ Natalie’s grandma read it out loud to her as Mario got down on one knee and presented her with the ring, with tears in her eyes Natalie immediately said yes!
Natalie said ‘It was truely the best day of my life so far….and im so proud of him, i love that he had my grandma be a part of such a special moment in our lives.’
I’m really looking forward to being part of their wedding and seeing them tie the knot. Congratulations to a great couple!
