Sam & Lloyd’s The Grasshopper Inn Hotel Wedding Day – Kent Wedding Photographer – James Grist Photography
Today on the blog is Sam & Lloyd’s Wedding Day.
The couple got married at St Mary’s Church in Westerham. It was a fantastically sunny day with a relaxed feel, shared with their wonderful close friends and family.
Their chosen colour scheme was purple and ivory. The two bridesmaids wore purple halter neck dresses and the boys shared the colour scheme with matching purple cravats. Butterflies were a big part of the theme, included in everything from the invitations and table plan, to the place names and even the bridal party’s bouquets. They made the table plan themselves and to add a ‘sweet’ touch to their day, they collected Douwe Egberts coffee jars, decorated them and filled them with a mixture of vintage sweets for their guests to tuck into around each table.
The most memorable moment for
Sam & Lloyd was the church service itself and in-particularly, saying their vows to each other in front of their closest friends and family. Everyone singing along with the choir to the hymns they had chosen is also a very cherished memory for the couple. All in all it was a lovely day for everyone.
