Sian & Adam’s Little Silver Country Hotel Wedding Day – Kent Wedding Photography – James Grist Photography
Today on the blog is Sian and Adam’s, Little Silver Country Hotel Wedding Day. Sian and Adam chose their venue primarily for it’s relaxed atmosphere. They also liked the versatility that it offered, with regards to having the ceremony outside within the grounds. The Little Silver Country House is a small intimate venue with a beautiful country backdrop. They also loved that friends and family had the option to stay over night if then wished, and join them for breakfast in the morning.
These guys didn’t so much have a set theme, their aim was for the wedding room to look pretty and to follow their colour scheme. They went for shades of pink and navy. The groomsmen wore navy suits with fuchsia ties and pink button holes whilst the bridesmaids wore short fuchsia dresses, keeping the relaxed, informal feel for their chilled outside wedding.
Sian and Adam chose Roses in a variety of shades of pink as their main flower. Sian wanted a classic and pretty look for her bouquet, and also went for some added sparkle in the center of each rose, with diamonte crystals. Gypsophila also featured in Sian’s bouquet, as her Mum and Grandma had it in their wedding bouquets too.
Sian searched for ages for the perfect dress, but when she finally found it, she just knew it was ‘The One’! She loved the style and the lace detailing and also how it sparkled! The dress had a beautiful train with buttons down the back. It was her dream princess dress and made her feel exactly that, like a Princess for the day! Sian kept her make-up fairly natural and not too over the top, it was important to her that she still looked like herself, and having one if her closest friends do her make-up, meant that her friend knew exactly what she wanted. For her bridal hair, Sian went for a half up look, but with some loose curls, and of course some more sparkle added in the form of diamanté hair clips.
Sian had this to say about their beautiful day, ‘The day went perfectly and the weather was perfect! It flew by but we loved every minute of it. I cant name just one favourite part of the day. There are many. Walking up the aisle to Adam, saying our vowels, hearing Adam and my Dad’s brilliant speeches, our first dance. There were so many. Having the horse and carriage was really special to me, I’ve always had horses and having them at our wedding was a real personal touch. It was nice as it gave me and Adam some time alone after saying our vowels, as well as having some special time with my dad before the wedding.’
