Tim & Francesca’s Seaside Pre Wedding Shoot
Hey Folks! Today’s blog is Tim & Francesca’s pre wedding shoot. Tim & Francesca met at University in Portsmouth, so as soon as they got engaged they knew they wanted to get married by the sea. They’re set to tie the knot in Hythe this May. Tim & Francesca have shared a few details of the day with us…
How did you decide on your venue: We’ve spent quite a few weekends down in Hythe and would love to move there one day, so it was one of the first places we thought of. As soon as we looked round the Ballroom at the Imperial we knew it was the right place for us. I used to spend weekends at the Imperial with my grandparents growing up and always absolutely loved it. My grandad died 18 years ago, so it means a lot to know that we’ll be celebrating somewhere with such special memories.
What theme have you chosen: We’ve gone for an Afternoon Tea/Vintage Elegance styled theme… We love going for Afternoon Tea so it was an easy choice to have it as our wedding breakfast. The tables are all named after traditional teas, and the meal is being served on patterned vintage style china with coupechampagne glasses for the sparkling. We have a pianist playing lounge music throughout the afternoon which will just top it off for us.
Which colours have you chosen and why: One of the first things we both decided on was a cake we found on Pinterest, and the colour scheme pretty much developed from there really. The main colour scheme is Pink and Grey – vintage but elegant!
Which flowers have you chosen and why: We have a mix of hydrangeas, roses and lisianthus. Our florist is amazing and has given us so many ideas we would never have even thought of, including an Earl Grey rose in keeping with the Afternoon Tea theme!
