Dean & Rowena’s Cooling Castle Barn Wedding
Hey Folks! Today on the blog is Dean & Rowena’s wedding day, they tied the knot back in late February in a Vintage mint green theme at Cooling Castle Barn,Kent. Thank you for a great day ! It was a absolute pleasure photographing your wedding day.
Where did you get Married? We got married at Cooling Castle Barn. We were recommended it by an old school friend, went to look round and booked it straight away.
Which flowers did you choose? All the wedding flowers were Ivory Roses and Gyp. We kept the flowers simple but absolutely loved them!
What was the dress like? My wedding dress was an ivory fishtail style. I chose it because no one would have expected me to wear that style. I added a lace top to it for the day and so I had a “party” style dress for the evening where I took the lace top off for the sweetheart neckline.
How did you have your hair & make-up? My hair was up and away from my face. I had a single rose and gyp in one side of my hair which the bridesmaids also had. Both myself and the Bridesmaids had quite natural makeup done with a brighter lip.
What did the Bridesmaids & Groomsmen wear? The Bridesmaids all had long mint green dresses where the ushers had matching ties. The Groom and Best Man had black bow ties to stand out.
How did your day go as a whole? Are there any special things you’d like to mention? The whole day was absolutely fantastic and we wish we could go back and do it all again. Every moment was such a dream come true. One of the best things we had was an old family friend carrying out our ceremony, it was so personal and comforting.
