Jade & Graham’s Country Nurstead Court Wedding Day – Kent Wedding Photographer – James Grist Photography
Today on the blog is Jade & Graham’s ‘Country Chic’ Wedding Day. Last year Graham & Jade won my free Wedding Photography Competition that I ran with ‘A Kentish Ceremony’ Wedding magazine, and it was also features over on the ‘So You’re Getting Married’ wedding blog. It was a great success, and so many lovely couples entered.
Jade & Graham tied the knot at Nurstead Court in Meopham. They fell in love with the venue for its beautiful countryside setting, which perfectly matched their country chic theme and colour scheme of sage green and cream. The ceremony was conducted in the house, whilst the meal and reception was held in their large marquee over looking the rolling hills.
The flowers throughout the wedding day were gypsophilia, however, Jade’s bridal bouquet also contained stephanotis.
Jade’s dress had a strapless bead and jewel encrusted corset top, with full tulle skirt, which had a layer of iridescent sequins underneath. Jade said, (about her dress) ‘I fell in love with it the minute I saw myself in the mirror and knew it was the one, despite the price tag… Luckily, Graham allowed me to blow the budget for my dream dress. I felt like a princess in it on the day.’
Jade’s hair was curled and half pinned up with a veil attached to the upper part. Jade went for bold, glamorous make up as she wanted it to stand out in the photographs and compliment her dress.
The bridesmaids wore light green Jenny Packham dresses which had a pretty beaded flower embellishment below the shoulder.
The groom and groomsmen wore peacock lined grey suits by Ted Baker with a complimentary sage green cravat and handkerchief.
Graham & Jade had this to say about their special day, ‘We were so happy that everything we had envisaged came together so well on the day. Our favourite part of the day was certainly when we made our vows, it was very emotional and full of love.’
