Jake & Joanna’s The Spa Hotel Wedding Day – Kent Wedding Photographer – James Grist Photography

Hey Folks!

Firstly, Happy New Year! I Had my first wedding fair of the year on Sunday at Lymphe Castle, it was an awesome day, I got to chat to lots of you and meet new faces! So ‘Hi’ to the new couples I met and high fives to everyone that booked! Welcome aboard!

Secondly, I have a beautiful wedding to share with you today on the blog. This is the wedding of Joanna & Jake who got married at the Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells.

Originally, the feature that first drew them to the venue was the Orangery, where their ceremony was held. They loved how even on a dark winters day, it would still have felt bright and airy.

These guys kept it pretty traditional for the theme. Joanna chose classic dusky pink roses for her bouquet whilst the bridesmaids had roses and

carnations in theirs. The floral displays were also a mixture of pale pink flowers with some foliage thrown in to add a different texture and added visual appeal. Flowers also surrounded huge hurricane vases for the center pieces, with candles in the middle, bringing their colour theme into the room.

Joanna and Jake felt that their day went perfectly and had this to say, ‘We loved every minute of our wedding day. Everything went smoothly – we wouldn’t change a thing. We relaxed and didn’t stress. Our highlights were the ceremony, speeches and the first dance.’
