Mike & Louise The Gardens At Yalding Wedding Day
Where did you get married?
Mike & I got married in a lovely venue called The Gardens in Yalding. It suited our style of wedding perfectly. Relaxed, simple with a hint of bohemian. My wedding colours were lavender, blush pinks and cream, so knew the venue was for us as soon as we saw the beautiful kept garden.
Which flowers did you choose?
Belles Florists were the ones who designed all my flowers in the venue including my wedding bouquet. I just told them that I wanted lavender as a main in my flowers with blush pink and creams and left them to it. (I wanted it to look natural like it has just been picked from a field). I got that and so much more.
Which colour did the groomsmen/ bridesmaids wear?
My bridesmaids were my sister and best friend. They both choose to wear the same dress but in slightly different colours. Dusty Lavender and a Dusty Pink. They wore a Chiffon v-neck floor length bohemian dress from an amazing shop called Victoria Bridals. I choose these dresses as I thought it would go lovely with my dress and I wanted the girls to feel completely comfortable on the day. I also got my stunning dress from there too. The groomsmen wore suit trousers that wear different shades of grey checked, white shirt with a bow tie and braces. My dad and mikes dad wore the same but with a waistcoat.
How did you have your hair/make up?
My hair was done by the lovely Angela from RKW hair. I just wanted a simple half up plait and curly as I was wearing a flower crown. My makeup was done by the lovely holly O’Connor. I just wanted a natural romantic look. Which she done beautifully. The weather was amazing on the day of our wedding.
How did you feel the day went as a whole?
The whole day was totally relaxed and just seemed to flow really well. The venue and staff was completely amazing. James was fantastic. Mike and I don’t really like having our photos taken but James made us feel so relaxed. We forgot he was even there!
