Ross & Gemma’s Hartlip Village Pre Wedding Shoot
Today on the blog is Gemma & Ross’s pre wedding shoot, they’ll be getting married in Hartlip Village this month.
The venue they’ve chosen for the ceremony is a pretty little church local to Ross’s father’s home which is where their reception will be held. The reception venue obviously has a very special place in their hearts so no where else would’ve matched it. The views across the valley are stunning and they are pleased that their reception venue will be completely unique to them for their special day.
The couple have chosen a traditional ‘English Garden’ feel for their reception. Tables will be decorated with old fruit crates and jars, with a mix of English flowers – roses, peonies, daisies and lots of foliage. There will be hay bails outside for their guests to sit on and they’ve chosen a string trio to enjoy during the canapés and drinks.
Gemma has handmade the table plan out of an old swing box which her grandad handmade, and it will be hanging in the marquee. Gemma’s also made the cake stand, and lots of pretty jars to hang flowers in, for the trees leading down to the marquee. The favours are homemade by a friend and are personalised for each guest. These guys have a few unique things up their sleeves, but I won’t give too much away now, stayed tuned for their wedding day blog coming soon!
