Sarah & Richard’s Relaxed Home Godstone Farm Pre Wedding Shoot – Kent Wedding Photographer – James Grist Photography
Hey Folks!
Today on the blog is Sarah & Richard’s Farm, Pre Wedding Shoot. I loved hearing Sarah & Richard’s ideas for their big day. I can’t wait to be apart of it, it definitely sounds like my kind of wedding! The couple will be saying their vows in St Botolph’s Church in Chevening early June. After they will be heading back to Sarah’s family farm in South Godstone.
The theme behind the wedding is fun and free, with no particular colour schemes as such. The bridesmaids will be wearing bright pink with cobalt blue shoes and they may have a matching Father-of-the-Bride outfit (if he gets his way!). Being on a farm the general idea of the wedding is ‘Country’, almost ‘fete like’ with tradition games such as ‘splat the rat’, Quoits, a coconut shy and even a sack race! And the kids are sure to be entertained with the teepee den that they’re planning too!
When it comes to flowers the feel they’re going for is general country garden, floral extravaganza! Sarah’s mother has been experimenting with Sprawling Sweet Peas with lots of ‘pinks’. The table flowers will be picked from the farm and Sarah is even making the bouquets herself.
Sarah and Richard plan to use as much local produce as they can, the Beer will be sourced locally and an old employee of Sarah’s will be supplying the British Sparkling Wine. For their wedding breakfast they are having lamb and hogget from the farm and even some asparagus also grown on the farm. It’s set to be a very chilled out fun day for all!
