Sean & Chelsea’s Summer Winters Barns Wedding Day
Where did you get married/why?
We chose Winters Barns because it wasn’t too big, so having a small wedding like ours didn’t make it look small, the room still felt full. We also found the venue wasn’t too formal, we both prefer non formal events so wanted our wedding to represent that and also it has good outside space as we wanted an outside wedding. Plus the venue was also in the middle of both families. We didn’t have a scheme as such but we chose colours such as blush, mink and white.
Which flowers did you choose?
For the brides bouquet I had a mixture of flowers in the colour scheme but for the bridesmaids I had white hydrangeas as their dresses were mink and I wanted their flowers to also stand out as well as their dress.
Which style was the brides dress?
For my dress I went for a lace dress which had a unique back. I loved the back which is one of the reasons why I chose it, I also loved the train.
How did you have your hair/make up?
I had my hair up because it was a hot day so wanted to keep anything off my back. I went for a natural look on my makeup because I hardly wear makeup outside of work so I didn’t want to look completly different.
Which colour did the groomsmen/ bridesmaids wear?
Grooms men wore the same suit as the groom which is grey with mink pin stripes. And the bridesmaids wore mink.
How did you feel that the day went as a whole?
The day went perfect. It flowed well, the weather was amazing and everyone got on and had a good time. I was so nervous at the start but had one of the best days!
