Emma & Matthews Brandshatch Place Spa Hotel Wedding Day
Today’s blog features Emma & Matthew’s wedding day. These guys got married at Brands Hatch Place last month in a beautifully elegant day.
On first view, Emma & Matthew liked the relaxed, chilled out feel to the venue and how they could have the whole day in the same place. It offered everything they were looking for, even down to the simply stunning decor which they both loved.
Emma & Matthew didn’t go for a particular theme as such, but knew they wanted Matt’s favourite colour, pink, as their main colour for the day, so they tried to incorporate the colour in as many aspects as possible. They went for a delicate shade of pale pink to compliment Emma’s elegant, mocha coloured dress. The beautiful dress was an a-line design with sweetheart neckline, Ivory lace detail, with an embellished ribbon sash. Emma said about her perfect dress, ‘I fell in love with it when I was dress shopping it was the only one that actually made me feel like a bride! I felt comfortable in it and felt that it was ‘me’.’
For her make up, Emma felt it was important to still look like herself, so opted for quite a natural look with a wavy romantic hair style to compliment a simple headband she had chosen.
The flowers the couple chose were classic roses. They had a mixture of pink and Ivory quick sand roses in their displays and bouquets. Small jars wrapped carefully with pretty lace, decorated parts of the venue to add even more romance and atmosphere to the space.
The groomsmen had grey suits with a pale pink tie and pocket square. The pink looked great up against the slate grey coloured suits, and I thought it worked really well. The bridesmaids also followed the pink scheme with simple knee length dresses with a sash around the waist.
In all, it was a lovely day and I enjoyed capturing special moments and mixing with their guests.
Emma and Matthew had this to say about their big day… ‘The whole day was exactly as we wanted it to be. I wanted a wedding that was fuss free and I feel that we achieved this. It was so lovely to see all the months of planning come together and the finished result to be even better than we had imagined. What we loved the most was being able to have all our family and friends to share our special day with us. We spent the entire day laughing and having fun! There was not a single moment we would do differently! ‘
