Paul & Natasha’s Cooling Castle Barn Wedding
Where did you get married/why?
We got married at Cooling Castle Barn on 30th September 2017. We chose Cooling Castle as we wanted a venue where everything was in once place, it is also stunning visually and we knew the pictures would look great! They were the only wedding venue that made us feel like we were the only ones who had ever got married there. We didn’t have any particular theme to our day, but chose blush and navy as our colour scheme during the day. They evening was very colourful with lots of Indian outfits.
Which flowers did you choose?
My bouquet was blush roses and gyp, my bridesmaids had just gyp bouquets. The groom, best man and father of the bride had a blush rose, the groomsmen had a small bunch of gyp.
Which style was the brides dress?
My dress was a Maggie Sottero, a modern lace sheath wedding dress flaunting a sexy, plunging illusion neckline, beaded belt, and lace cap-sleeves. Complete with illusion back with ruched details. Finished with pearl buttons over zipper closure. I knew I wanted a lace dress, and this one was the first one I tried on and just loved it.
How did you have your hair/make up and why?
My hair was plaited to the side with pieces of gyp combined, with loose curls over my shoulder. My make up was natural with an emphasis on my eyes.
Which colour did the groomsmen/ bridesmaids wear?
The groomsmen wore light blue 3 piece suits with a scoop waistcoat, the groom wore a navy 3 piece suit with a scoop waistcoat. All wore brown shoes and blush ties. The bridesmaids wore mauve floor length dresses with lace detailing to the body.
How did you feel that the day went as a whole?
We both thoroughly enjoyed our day, and loved sharing it with our nearest and dearest.
